Mark Camera
Objective:
Given a CP-7-series machine,
technical documentation and
required tools, remove, replace and
calibrate the mark camera to FUJI
specifications.

7.1 The Mark Camera
This CCD camera is mounted on the machine for reading fiducial and block skip
marks. The machine processes fiducial marks in order to find the actual position
of the board inside the machine and so place parts accurately. Block skip marks
are processed in order to ascertain whether a particular block(s) are to be skipped
or not (refer to the figure below).
Typical problems arising from an incorrectly calibrated position include mark read
errors, and uniformly skewed parts.
Recalibration of the fiducial camera is needed to correct the above mentioned
problems. Some examples of possible reasons for calibration are:
- Poorly focused camera
- After replacing camera
- After any damage to the camera resulting in camera skew
Required Tools: 1 Set of Allen Wrenches
Required Jig: Pin holder jig
Fiducial jig plate
