holeif necessary, press "Z-AXIS UP" again correct the position using the X-Y knobs if nozzle
is in the hole press "Z-AXIS UP" press "END" on the teach panel.
3. The measuring procedure based on the initially entered criteria starts: The hole is measured in X- and
Y-directions the respective actual values determined (displayed) are compared to the setpoint values
the difference is output on the screen (values are always compared to those of the first measurement).
4. When the first measuring cycle is completed the measured values are displayed.
5. After the preset waiting time has elapsed the 2nd cycle follows automatically if it was initially entered.
6. After the measurement of all cycles the following screen display appears:
PLEASE PRESS <START> KEY
Press the "START" button. The main menu is displayed.
7.17 AXES MOVEMENT MENU
This menu is only intended for testing purposes, error isolation and axes adjustment.
Within the scope of the Routine Check it is performed only if a deviation > 2 counts was obtained during
the initially performed axis adjustment (see menu option "CHECK AXIS ADJUSTMENT").
All details regarding the use of the AXES MOVEMENT MENU are contained in the description of this menu
option in section 5.1.20.
Observe the safety instructions displayed during the execution of this menu, contained in section 2.3 !
7.18 I/O MENU

DANGER OF ACCIDENT / DANGER OF CRASH
For the performance of the following activities you must be familiar with the contents of chapter 2 "Safety"
and the description of the respective menu options in chapter 5. In addition, for the performance of Indivi-
dual Checks pay attention to chapter 6!
About the procedure:
The operational procedure for the routine checks to be performed on Adhesive Station II is for the most
part identical to the procedure for HS-180 machines, chap. 7. The procedure for Adhesive Station II is
therefore described in condensed form, the differences are highlighted in the following text.
Further important information is contained in the description of the menu options in section 5.2.
As is the case on the HS-180, the PCB camera (here ADHESIVE MENU) must have already been cali-
brated before glass mapping is carried out.
As on the HS-180, the "min. and max. X/Y-travel paths" (analogously to section 7.4) must be manually
determined and entered in the EDIT MENU following any change of the MA-zero point correction values.
When the AutoCal measuring sequence has been terminated, perform the "Final Work of Calibration"
as described for Adhesive Station II in section 10.2.
1. Ensure that the requirements for calibrations have been fulfilled (see section 4.2.5 "Checklist HS-180:.........").
2. Start the AutoCal program from the hard disk / diskette (section 4.2) the machine selection menu appears
(section 1.4.1) insert work diskette containing the MA-data select machine type for Adhesive Station II:
CHECK HS180 WITH SW V2.01
or:
CHECK HS180 WITH SW V2.03/2.08/2.09/UNIX (ICOS 2 Q)
If AutoCal is started on Adhesive Station "I", the following error message is displayed following the
loading of the MA-Data:
MEASURING OF GLUE STATION I IS NOT POSSIBLE WITH AUTOCAL
In this case, confirm with "RETURN". The AUTOCAL program is terminated.
If the MA-Data are not found, if they are either incomplete, faulty or do not correspond to the selected
SW version, a corresponding error message (see page 7-1, point 3) is displayed.
3. After compatibility of the MA-Data has been established, the following display appears (for complete text
see page 7-2):
WARNING
THIS PROGRAM ...............!"
4. From this point onwards, proceed as described from "WARNING" onwards (page 7-2) and pay attention
to the following on Adhesive Station II:
DANGER: When you respond to the question "HEAD IN UPPER POSITION?" with YES, the head must really
be in its top position!
