5.3.22 I/O MENU
This menu allows you to set the desired outputs by selecting "TEST OUTPUTS", and to check the updated in-
puts in each case on the screen by "CONT. OP.". Upon selecting "TEST INPUTS" the display of all signal sta-
te changes of the inputs is displayed on the screen.
WARNING
!
!
Any
concurrent setting
of competing outputs may result in
damage to the machine
!
N o (!)
verification by the software is carried out !
The description of this menu option is contained in section 5.1.21!
5.3.23 STORING
By selecting this menu option (offered on the main menu and in the Edit Menu) the values determined are
transferred directly from the main memory to the MA-data of the hard disk (Winchester).
You should perform a "STORING" procedure after
every
measuring routine to prevent any loss of data by
malfunctions that could occur.

6 Interdependent Calibrations Required for Individual
Checks
DANGER
!
!
!
DANGER OF ACCIDENT / DANGER OF PLACEMENT HEAD CRASH DUE TO INCORRECT HANDLING
Adhere to the safety instructions contained in chapter 2.
Individual checks are used within the scope of given service activities (e.g. after installation/reinstallation
of the component camera/placement head) and, as the case may be, for fault isolation procedures. Pre-
requisite for working with the AutoCal program for the performance of individual checks is the knowledge
about safety hazards in special situations and the functional interrelationships on the machine.
6.1 Overview
Certain MA-Data and therefore certain calibrations are interdependent.
With some MA-Data this dependency differs between HS and MS-machines !
As is the case with the Routine Check, the following prerequisites must be fulfilled for the individual
checks as well:
The MA-Data must already be correct within narrowly defined limits (incl. head height and activation of
the installed options).
The basic settings (e.g. jaws adjustment, axis adjustment, zero point correction of the axes) must be
correct.
The machine must have been properly serviced.
Depending on the machine type used, proceed according to the following sections:
for HS-180 placement machines: section 6.2, Figs. 6.1 and 6.3,
for HS-180 adhesive station II: section 6.3, Fig. 6.4,
for MS-machines: section 6.4, Figs. 6.5 and 6.6.
NOTE
When converting to software version V2.03 (LRB.2xxx.xxx) it is required that a hardware conversion from
ICOS II to ICOS IIQ be performed. Within the scope of this conversion, the PCB vision and component
vision systems as well as the coplanarity laser module must be re-calibrated.
