2.2.1 General Precautions (Feeder Carriage Section)
• If a person or an object comes in contact with the feeder car-
riage, a major injury or damage will result.
The feeder carriages are driven by strong motors and move right and
left at high speed.
Keep you or any object away from the moving areas during automatic,
setup, maintenance operations, etc.

• Before working at the rear side of the machine, be sure to
turn on the "LOCK" lamp.
When you operate the powered machine or perform the maintenance
work at the rear side of the machine, press the [PNL CHANGE] button
on the rear operation panel to turn on the "LOCK" lamp (green). Other-
wise, the machine can also be operated from the front side, exposing
you to danger.

• In principle, the machine must be operated by only one person.
If there are more than one, ensure good communication by giving loud
verbal instructions.

2.2.2 Precautionary Items on Feeder Carriage Section during Au-
tomatic Operation
• Never operate the machine with the feeder carriage cover and
any of the feeder work area safety doors being kept open.
If a person or an object comes in contact with the feeder carriage, a
major injury or a damage will result.
Confirm that the feeder carriage cover and the feeder work area safety
doors are closed. If not, be sure to close them.
