Inspection system serial number, see „Software“ > „System
information“ (Page 138).
Software version of the installed software, see „Software“ >
„Viscom information“ (Page 137).
A description of the problem, as detailed as possible.

NOTE
Before calling, ensure direct access to the inspection system. An
incident number is issued at the first call; please keep this number
ready for any further calls regarding the same incident.
Viscom Remote Support
As of now, Viscom offers a complete package for remote mainte-
nance of our inspection systems.
The new software allows the experts in Hanover direct access to
the inspection system without having to be on-site at a customer's
in person.
Access follows consultation with the customer IT department, over
the Internet or by telephone. For details about working with
Remote Support, please contact your IT department.

Maintenance
Maintenance is an essential preventative measure to maintain
operating safety and prolong the system life span. The mainte-
nance should not be neglected in any way.
Please consider that noncompliance with the stated maintenance
requirements leads to premature wear and/or to failure of single
components and assemblies and as a result to the failure of the
complete system!
