4. Set the inspection system in a horizontal position as indicated
by the level.
5. Tighten the lock nuts well to secure the system feet.

To prevent damage to the inspection system during transport,
fasten it to the wooden pallet. This chapter describes how to fasten
the inspection system, step by step.

The inspection system is fastened to the pallet at its outer four
feet. The following graphic shows the four fastening points:

Required: 4 transport clamps with 8 hex head wood screws (10 x 60)
Cordless screwdriver
Perform the following work steps:
1. Set one of the transport clamps around a system foot.
2. Screw down the transport clamp securely to the pallet.
The first transport clamp is fastened.
3. Repeat steps 1 and 2 for the other machine feet, see .„Inspec-
tion system fastening points“ (Page 243)

Wrapping the inspection system
Precondition: Signal lamp is removed.
The system is cleaned.
The inspection system is fastened to the pallet with transport
clamps.
Required: Bubble wrap and plastic stretch wrap
Aluminum laminate sheet and bag
Packing tape
Drying agent
Cordless screwdriver
Vacuum cleaner
Foil sealer
Placing the
drying agent
Perform the following work steps:
Place a sack of drying agent beneath the inspection system.
The drying agent is placed.
Wrapping the
inspection
system with
foil.
Perform the following work steps:
1. Wrap the monitor bracket with bubble wrap.
2. Fasten the bubble wrap with packing tape.
