4. Grease the two front runner blocks on the Y-axis with 0.4 cm

grease.
5. Grease the two rear runner blocks on the Y-axis with 0.4 cm

grease.
6. Move the runner blocks back and forth with three double
strokes; the distance should be equal to at least three times
the length of a runner block.
7. Check if there is a visible grease layer on the guide rails.
The Y-axis guide carriages are greased.

Lubricating the
spindles
Perform the following work steps:
1. Stand behind the inspection system.
2. Pull the X-axis toward yourself.
3. Check the spindles for contamination and clean as required.
4. Lubricate the Y-axis spindle through the lubricating nipple
attached to the spindle nut with 1.5 cm

5. Lubricate the X-axis spindle through the lubricating nipple
attached to the side of the FPD carrier on the X-axis with
1.5 cm

grease
6. Check if there is a visible grease film on the spindles and
guides.
The spindles are lubricated.
The runner blocks and spindles of the flat panel detector posi-
tioning unit are lubricated.
