Sealed X-ray tube
The inspection system can optionally also be operated with a
sealed X-ray tube.

Overview
The sealed X-ray tube consists of three components: a micro-focus
X-ray tube to generate X-ray radiation, a high voltage generator
circuit and a control circuit; all contained in one unit. This unit can
be operated and controlled from an RS-232C interface. The sealed
X-ray tube is movable in the Z-direction.
The standard system version uses a 130 kV tube, arranged verti-
cally over the PCB. For additional information about technical spec-
ifications, see „Technical specifications“ > „Sealed X-ray tube“
(Page 255).

tion.
