2.4.9 Nozzle Stocker Section

The nozzle stocker section is provided with a mechanism that stores
the vacuum nozzles.
The placement head moves over to the nozzle stocker and the selected
vacuum nozzles are attached or detached according to the pattern pro-
gram data.

Nozzle Stocker B1: Max. 10 pcs.
Nozzle Stocker B2: Max. 10 pcs.

3. Surface Mounting Mechanism
The following briefly describes how components are mounted on P.C.B.’s.
(a) The explanation is based on the P.C.B. flow diretion "From
Left to Right (L Æ R)" and the P.C.B. positioning reference
"Rear Left" (L-BACK).
(b) Refer to "1. Scope of Actions" in "Section 2" of "Vol. 2: Op-
eration (Supervisor)" for details.
3.1 P.C.B. Transfer and Positioning
P.C.B. Transfer (from the input machine)
The P.C.B. transferred from the input machine is carried by the L
conveyor and is stopped at the standby position by P.C.B. Stopper
P1.

P.C.B. Positioning (PRI PCB STR)
P.C.B. Stopper P1 descends and the P.C.B. which has moved to
the P.C.B. positioning section from the standby position is stopped
by P.C.B. Stopper P2.
The P.C.B. is held firmly by the clamping plate on the P.C.B. posi-
tioning section.
