3.5.1.2 Preparing the vacuum pump (new)

► Dismantle the four rubber feet(1).
► Remove the protective cap(2).

► Fit the "support plate for vacuum pump
" [03217727‑xx].
To fix it, use:
4x screws M5x10 [03042560‑xx]
4x washers M5 [03064970‑xx].

► Fit the "interface plate for vacuum pump" [03223382‑xx] and fix with four screws M5x10
[03042560‑xx].

► Seal the double threaded nipple(1)
with Teflon tape Loctite 55(2).

► Rotate the double threaded nipple in
the vacuum pump and then tighten this.

► Fit the flange plate(2) [03217701‑xx]
on the exhaust duct(1)
[03223353‑xx].
Use two screws for this [03028942‑xx]
(M4x10).

► Screw the filter(1) onto the vacuum
pump.
Make sure that the side connection
points diagonally to the top left, when
screwed into place.
3.5.2 Installation locations of the vacuum pump
NOTICE
Installation locations
The vacuum pumps are fitted in placement area 1, at locations 1 and 4.
If only one vacuum pump is fitted, this is installed at location 4.
► In X Series S machines, the vacuum pump at location 4 supplies placement area 1
and the vacuum pump at location 1 supplies placement area 2.
