Adjust the tension of Y-axis drive belt
n
If the tension is low (the belt rotates too much)
1
Loosen four bolts A in the figure
Use a wrench (10 mm) to loosen four bolts A
shown in figure.
2
Tighten two bolts B a little.
Use a hex wrench (5 mm) to tighten two
bolts B a little shown in figure.
n
NOTE
Tighten two bolts B with same amount. Do not tighten
only one bolt biasedly.
3
Check the belt tension.
Follow Step3 in "3.5 Checking the tension of
Y-axis drive belt" to check the belt tension.
4
Tighten the bolts A.
After confirming the tension is appropriate,
tighten the bolts A.
n
If the tension is high (the belt doesn't rotate easily)

1
Turn the machine off.
2
Move the handler down most on
Y-axis.
Open a side door, then move the handler
down most on Y-axis.

4. Handler
This section describes the maintenance mainly related to three axes of the handler, Forward/Backward-axis,
Open/Close-axis, and Rotation-axis.
4.1 Cleaning and greasing for the guide of Forward/Backward-axis
1
Turn the machine off.
2
Move the handler to the place
where it is easy to work.
1. Open a side door, then move the handler
a little upper from the middle on Y-axis so
that it is easy to work.
2. Move the handler to either end of X-axis
by hands.
3. Rotate the handler to face it parallel to
X-axis.
3
Clean the guide.
Use cleaning wiper with a little IPA to clean
Forward/Backward-axis guide.
4
Move the handler forward on
Forward/Backward-axis.
Move the handler forward on Forward/
Backward-axis viewed from the operator.
5
Clean the remaining parts of the
guide.
Use cleaning wiper with a little IPA to clean
the remaining parts in Step3.
6
Apply the grease.
Apply the specified grease (AFB grease) on
the guide of Forward/Backward-axis by
hands.
7
Move the handler backward on
Forward/Backward-axis.
Move the handler backward on Forward/
Backward-axis, to the origin, viewed from
the operator.
