6. Maintenance
6.1 Daily inspection
To use the machine for a long time in good condition, be sure to perform daily inspection.

WARNING
WHEN YOU TOUCH THE MOVING AREA FOR MAINTENANCE, BE SURE TO TURN OFF THE POWER, CHECK THAT THE MOVING
AREA COMPLETELY STOPS BEFORE WORK.
6.1.1 Daily general inspection
• There is nothing inside the machine.
• The photoelectric sensor is not dirty.
• The sensor connector is not pulled out or loose.
• The conveyor belt is not removed.
• No foreign matter is attached on the board conveyor rail or the belt.
6.1.2 Monthly inspection items and details of the inspection
• Belt wear
Check that there is no significant wear in the belt.
Especially, the conveyor belt is consumable and it will be worn with time even if it is used properly.
Replace it within a year.
• Rotation of the conveyor pulley
There is no part with heavy rotation or it rotates smoothly.
• Board detection sensor
ON/OFF of the sensor is normal.
• Conveyor rail guide
Screws are not loose.
There is no asperity or crack on the back side.
• Photoelectric sensors
Please clean a face on the lens.

6.2 Grease lubrication
Lubrication oil is not necessary on this machine except for the ball screw for determining the conveyor width.
Periodically (every one or two months), lightly wipe off the old grease from the ball screw for width
determination, and apply thinly with Shell Albania grease S2 or equivalent.
Though other parts like the guide part does not require lubrication oil, if greasing becomes necessary by
touching the part with bare hands or spilled solvent, apply grease following the cautions below.

CAUTION
1. Since special clean grease (THK AFF grease) is included in X-axis and Y-axis ball screws, never apply rust
preventive oil.
2. For applying grease to LM guide and others, use Shell Alvania Grease S2 or equivalent.
3. Application quantity is about thin film less than operating characteristics.
4. Put on gloves when applying grease with your hand.

Give first aid treatment as below if a adhesion of oil on the skin, etc. are occurred just in case, under oil
supply.
• Inhalation
Remove casualty to fresh air and keep at rest in a position comfortable for breathing .Cover with blanket to keep warm
and rest in a quiet surrounding. Seek immediate medical advice and attention.
• Skin Contact
Wash skin with large amount of water using soap.
• Eye Contact
Rinse cautiously with clean water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do, and continue
rinsing. After rinsing for a minimum of 15 minutes, seek medical advice and attention.
• Ingestion
Without inducing vomiting, call a doctor for treatment. If mouth has been dirtied, clean with water.
