PLEASE NOTE
If the line computer is shut down, the stations will have to be rebooted when the line is started again.
l Stand-alone (line engineer)
From the Options menu, a cluster can be loaded from the hard disk of the station computer for testing without
the line computer. All the data must be present on the hard disk of the station computer.
PLEASE NOTE
Stand-alone must have been set as the control mode.
l GEM host (option)
This control mode must be set in order to run the automatic placement machine from another host via the
GEM interface.

2.4.4.4 New Cluster (Line Engineer)
From the Options menu, a cluster can be loaded from the hard disk of the station computer for testing without
the line computer.
PLEASE NOTE
Stand-alone must have been set as the control mode.
Select the New cluster" submenu from the Options menu on the menu bar.

Enter the cluster that you wish to load in the input box and click on OK. The set-up and cluster name will be
displayed in the main view.
PLEASE NOTE
The set-up and cluster must be present on the hard disk together with the associate package form and fidu-
ciary marking data. The last placement program successfully set by the line computer is stored on the hard
disk as the CURRENT cluster (including the fiduciary marking and package form data).
