1. Precautionary Items
Described in this session are the items related to lubrication and inspections
work for better performance of the machine.
It is recommended that lubrication and inspections work be performed peri-
odically.
CAUTION
Lubrication, Inspections, and Cleaning Work
Only qualified personnel should perform
lubrication, inspections, and cleaning work
carefully in compliance with the specified
procedures.
Be sure to turn off the main power of the
machine, shut off the air source, and lock
the main switch with the padlock before
lubrication, inspections, and cleaning work.
Refer to “1.4 Notes On Maintenance” for
details.
Take ample care not to leave the waste threads after cleaning with an oiled
rag.
Wipe off old grease before lubrication.
Do not blow air, etc., unless necessary.
When a pallet or a magazine is replaced with another one, check for dam-
ages, cracks, bends, etc., to avoid any machinery breakdown and perform
the cleaning.
