4) Position move inspection
- Algorithm to judge if component edge is in normal range by detect component edge, and
Shift inspection can be conducted.
Teaching method
(a) Draw binary inspection window in inspection area, and select position move inspection
for inspection type.
(b) Select detection type.
(c) Enter width lowest limit.
(d) For angle inspection, check at angle inspection.
(e) Set binarization method and binarization value checking preview image.
(f) If there is noise, select size filtering.
(g) In case of binarization using color information, select color map. Click setting button to
adjust color, saturation and luminance checking preview image.
(h) Enter normal criteria.

Parameter description
Use SubPixel
Basically, use binary image for inspection that uses edge among detailed items of binary
inspection. However, in case of detection of more precise edge using black and white
image, check at „UseSubPixel.
Detection type
Select detection type of same shape referring to preview image.
Arrow direction is the direction to search edge. Start direction of the arrow is the
reference point of boundary line position and normal range.
Use line inspection

Detect boundary line, and calculate position value at which boundary line meets start
point and end point of window (In case of horizontal boundary line, left end and right end
in inspection window).
Angle inspection
Measure angle of boundary line in inspection window.
For angle inspection, segment inspection window and detect boundary line in
segmentation region. Calculate angle of boundary line in inspection window by using
position of the detected boundary lines.
Point Num
This will be activated if both of angle inspection and SubPixel are checked.
Check at „Point Num to input the number of inspection window segmentation for angle
inspection.
Color map
Select this option for binarization of color image using color information. Adjust color,
saturation, and luminance to clearly display boundary line to be detected in color map
displayed by clicking setting button.
Virtual line offset:
This function is to inspect relative position of 2 reference points.
Refer to BLU inspection.
Normal criteria (boundary line position)
Min: min position of boundary line within inspection window to judge edge position as
normal.
Current: position of detected boundary line.
Max: max position of boundary line to judge edge position as good in inspection window.
Max expansion: max range to detect position of boundary line. In general, enter width or
length of inspection window according to inspection type.
Angle Offset
Enter reference angle for good/defect judgment during angle inspection. Decimal point
can be entered.
Inspection result in status screen
Position move inspection
Width, Height: height and width of inspection window.
- Edge
Inspect Vertical Line: detect vertical boundary line.
