12.1 Replenishment of Cleaning Solvent
The solvent tank must be filled up to the "MAX" line with industrial
alcohol. (Approx. 1,500 ml or less)
If you fill the tank beyond the "Max" line, alcohol will overflow and drip
out of the tank, down to the floor.

(5) After the replenishment of industrial alcohol, attach the internal
lid of the solvent tank and tighten the cap securely.
If air gets into the tube running between the solvent tank and the
discharge nozzle, industrial alcohol may not come out soon.
In this case, discharge a little amount of alcohol to let the air escape,
using the [Dispense Solvent (ON-OFF)] switch on the rear operation
panel.

12.1 Replenishment of Cleaning Solvent
WARNING
Never remove the cap of the solvent tank while the machine
is running. Otherwise, the internal cap may pop out,
dispersing industrial alcohol and causing a personal injury
(loss of eyesight, etc.).
Tighten the cap of the tank securely. Otherwise, the internal
lid may blow off, causing the industrial alcohol to drip out.
If you spill solvent by mistake, clean it up with a rag as soon
as possible.
After cleaning up the spilt solvent, confirm that it has dried
completely and enough ventilation is provided. After that,
turn on the power switch of the machine.
It will also result in poisoning, skin inflammation, or
degreasing by organic solvent.
Try to wear goggles, protective gloves, a protective mask,
etc., to protect against spills on exposed skin.
Do not put the industrial alcohol on the machine. Otherwise, you
may spill the alcohol by mistake, causing it to flow into the inside
of the machine.
Do not put the industrial alcohol nor the replenishment container
inside the machine.
Be sure not to perform replenishment work (supplying the
replenishment container with industrial alcohol) in the machine.
Do not spill industrial alcohol outside the solvent tank during the
replenishment work.
If you spill solvent by mistake, clean it up with a rag as soon as
possible.
After cleaning up the spilt solvent, confirm that it has dried
completely and enough ventilation is provided. After that, turn on
the power switch of the machine.
The pressure of the air supplied to the solvent tank is set to 0.01
MPa (0.1 kgf/cm
2
).
If more than the specified pressure is applied, the tank may explode.
Be sure not to change the set pressure.

12.2 Checking of Industrial Alcohol Hose and Joints
Check for industrial alcohol leakage from the hose (including the joints)
running between the solvent tank and the cleaning nozzle.
Check the following:
Industrial Alcohol Leakage
Loosened or Deteriorated Hose Joints and Gaskets
Cracks or Any Other Deterioration in Hose
Be sure to always perform this checking before starting the operation of
the machine and after completing a setup operation.
Whenever an industrial alcohol leakage is found, turn off the power
switch of the machine immediately.
When it is impossible to track down the cause of a leakage or repair
the leaking area on the customer side, contact the marketing
department or sales agency of Hitachi High-Technologies.
It may be difficult to detect a leakage because industrial alcohol is a
volatile liquid.
Try to carefully examine the area around the joints, etc., for any
trace of leakage.
