2. Explanation of Proper Data
1. MG4ID ID_Code
This identification code acts as a password to limit access to certain command
operations. The user selects up to eight digits to serve as this code.
Standard setting: Choose a number of no more than eight digits.
2. MG4LG Language = 0
Selects the language for the displays.
English [0]
Japanese [1]
3. MG4REL Red_Light = 1024
Signal tower red lamp lighting conditions (16-bit binary data).
Standard setting: 1024 (0000 01000 0000 0000) Vision processing error.
The settings for the signal tower Proper data items are input as a decimal number
(a 16 bit mask pattern). The bits are numbered as indicated below.
The bit settings required to light the tower or to make it flash in various situations are
indicated in the following table.
Bit Setting Status
15 1000 0000 0000 0000 Not used at present
14 0100 0000 0000 0000 Temperature regulator alarm

Examples
(1) To make the red lamp illuminate if the machine stops due to an error (0000 0000
0000 1000) or the machine stops for another reason (0000 0000 0000 0001), set
Red_Light = (0000 0000 0000 1001). An easy way to convert this number to
decimal is as follows:
(1) From the [Accessories] icon group in Windows select [Calculator].
(2) Select [Scientific] from the [View] menu.
(3) Click on the “Bin” option button and input 1001.
(4) Click on the “Dec” option button to convert this number to decimal. The
result should be 9.
Input 9 as the value for the Proper data item 3. MG4REL Red_Light.
(2) To make the yellow lamp illuminate if the machine is waiting for a board (0000
0000 1000 0000) or waiting to unload a board
(0000 0000 0100 0000), set Yellow_Light = (0000 0000 1100 0000). This is 192 in
decimal.
4. MG4YEL Yellow_Light = 16420
Signal tower yellow lamp lighting conditions (16-bit binary data).
Standard setting: 0100 0000 0010 0100 (16420)
5. MG4BLL Blue_Light = 768
Signal tower blue lamp lighting conditions (16-bit binary data).
Standard setting: 0000 0011 0000 0000 (768)
6. MG4REB Red_Flash = 8
Signal tower red lamp flashing conditions (16-bit binary data).
Standard setting: 0000 0000 0000 1000 (8)
7. MG4YEB Yellow_Flash = 8210
Signal tower yellow lamp flashing conditions (16-bit binary data).
Standard setting: 0010 0000 0001 0010 (8210)
8. MG4BLB Blue_Flash = 2241
Signal tower blue lamp flashing conditions (16-bit binary data).
Standard setting: 0000 10000 1100 0001 (2241)
