Part 6
PCB Transport Error: #
Cause: A board could not be properly transported on the conveyor
indicated by #.
Remedy: Transmit Proper and status data to the machine. The conveyor types which
may be indicated by # are identified below.
“Prev.” Previous stage conveyor
“MCID” MCID conveyor
“IN” In-conveyor
“OUT” Out-conveyor
“NEXT” Next stage conveyor
PCB Stopper Error
Cause: The upper or lower limit sensor for the board stopper has not been tripped
within 5 seconds after the board stopper has been signaled to rise or drop.
Remedy: Check for foreign objects (for example, a board) that may hinder stopper
movement.
If such a foreign object is found, remove it. If no such object is found check
the stopper upper and lower limit sensors using the I/O board. For details
on performing checks with the I/O map, refer to Part 3, “Description of
Commands” and to Appendix A concerning the GL-541E I/O map. For
further information on sensor adjustment procedures see the
GL-541E Maintenance Manual.
PCB Setting Error
Cause: If a board is on the main conveyor an attempt to load a board has been
made. If a board is not presently on the main conveyor then an attempt to
unload a board has been made.
Remedy: Check the condition of the main conveyor for any unnatural movement. If
no such movement is found, check the MAIN ARRV CHK sensor on the
main conveyor using the I/O check function.
For details on performing checks with the I/O map, refer to Part 3,
“Description of Commands” and to Appendix A concerning the GL-541E
I/O map. For further information on sensor adjustment procedures see the
GL-541E Maintenance Manual.
Conv. PLC Alarm
Cause: The CPU module (board loader PLC) is not working properly.
Remedy: Contact Fuji.

PLC Link Alarm
Cause: Communication with the CPU module (board loader PLC) is not possible.
Remedy: Check the connection of the signal wires linking the VME interface board
and the CPU module (board loader PLC). For details on the VME interface
board and the CPU module (board loader PLC) refer to Part 1, “GL-541E
Machine Operation”, section 1.3, “Control System”.
Loader ROM Error
Cause: The machine ROM version is older than that of the board loader PLC.
Remedy: Contact Fuji.

Empty Check Z1
Empty Check Z2
Empty Check Z3
Cause: The glue level remaining in each respective syringe is too low.
Remedy: Replenish glue or replace the syringes.
Note: After the error occurs, if the START button is pressed operation resumes. However,
operation stops again after glue has been applied to one board. Enter 0000 0000 0000
0001 in Machine_Status_A in Proper data to override the glue level check.
No Production Program
Cause: No production program is specified.
Remedy: Move a production program to the machine foreground or transmit a
program from F4G.
Invalid Command
Cause: An incorrect id code has been input.
Remedy: The system prompts the user to enter the id code as a security measure to
prevent Proper data and other data essential to the correct operation of the
machine from being accidentally changed.
If this error occurs, input the same code that is set in Proper data item 1 :
ID_Code.
Input Error
Cause: A value outside the established range was input while inputting data from
the numeric keypad, or the data was input in the wrong order.
Remedy: The permissible input range differs for each command. For details, refer to
the command information in part 3.
Mark Not Readable
Cause: The vision processing camera could not successfully inspect a fiducial mark
or measure a glue check dot.
Remedy: Refer to the following error codes and take appropriate action.
