Chapter 4 Vision Test Mode
4. Vision Test Mode
The vision test can be used to individually inspect the fiducial marks and block skip marks.
The objective of the vision test is to reduce problems associated with vision processing during
production by processing the fiducial marks prior to production in order to make sure the data
is correct and to verify that vision processing is in fact possible.
The vision test is selected using the [SET] -> [MANUAL] -> [VISION] -> [VISION TEST]
command sequence.
The function keys (F1~F6) shown below display when the [VISION TEST] command is
selected.
Note: The display returns to the previous page if the [RETURN] key is pressed.
4.1 Fiducial Mark Vision Test
The fiducial marks used in the production program in the foreground of the machine are
inspected using the mark coordinate information in sequence data and mark data.
The function keys (F1~F6) shown below display when the [F MARK] command is
selected.
Note (1) Refer to chapter 2 for details of the trace command section.
(2) If the [RETURN] key is pressed the screen will return to the previous page.

4.1.1 Setting the Mark Data
The relevant mark data must be specified in order to carry out the mark reading
vision test.
Specify the sequence number after selecting the [SET DATA] command.
Use the numeric keypad to input the sequence number of the mark read
sequence (mask mark read sequence or board mark read sequence) for which the
vision test is to be carried out.
The data for the specified mark sequence displays when this input is complete.
4.1.2 Mark Form Display
The mark form cannot be displayed if the mark data is not set.
The form display function is used to check whether the mark for which data has
been set is the same as the registered mark (for example are the marks the same
color).
The form of the mark for which data has been set is displayed at the vision
processing monitor using the [FORM DSPLY] command.
Note that the form that displays is the form of the mark that is registered in the
vision processing board.
Note: Vision processing system version V2.70 or later is necessary to execute the
[FORM DSPLY] command.
4.1.3 Real Image Display
The real image display function is used to verify by how much the mark is
displaced when a mark read error occurs.
The real image is displayed at the vision processing monitor using the
[DSP REAL-IMG] command.

4.1.4 Executing a Vision Test
Vision processing of the specified mark is carried out using the [VP. EXE]
command.
The results of vision processing display at the bottom of the first display area.
Results
X: ****** [um] (X-direction displacement)
Y: ****** [um] (Y-direction displacement)
Error: ****** (Error code)
4.2 Block Skip Mark Vision Test
This test can be used to check the level of the fiducial marks used in the production
program.
Note: The display returns to the previous page if the [RETURN] key is pressed.
4.2.1 Specifying Block Skip Mark Data
Press the [SET DATA] function key and input the sequence number of the block
skip sequence.
