1.1 Errors Displayed in the Second Display Area
There are several types of errors displayed on the machine. One type of error causes an
emergency stop, which cuts off the 200 V power supply to the machine. Another type of
error does not cause an emergency stop but interrupts automatic operation or prevents it
from being started. Yet another type of error only displays a message but does not stop
machine operation.
If an emergency stop occurs, the Y-table is stopped and the 200 V power supply to the
machine is cut off. The RESET button has to be pressed to start the machine operation
again. The message “Emergency Stop" is displayed in red at the top of the second
display area and one of the causes in the list below is displayed in yellow.
Emergency SW Pressed
Cause: The EMERGENCY STOP button has been pressed.
Remedy: After releasing the EMERGENCY STOP button press the RESET button to
start operation again.
Air Pressure Alarm
Cause: The air pressure has dropped below the preset level.
Remedy: Adjust the air pressure to the correct value and press the RESET button.
Servo Amp Alarm
Cause: A servo amplifier is not working properly.
Remedy: Check the servo axis to see if it is overloaded.
Check the servo amplifier.

Heater Alarm
Cause: The temperature does not lie in the range set on the temperature regulator
operation panel.
Remedy: Make sure that the temperature regulator switch is turned on.
If the switch is turned on, check that the heater is working properly and
make sure that the temperature range setting is correct.
Thermal Alarm
Cause: The thermal relay of one of the servomotors has been tripped to protect the
motor.
Remedy: Press the thermal relay reset button and check which thermal relay has
been tripped. Make sure that the relevant servo axis is not overloaded.
Overtravel X-
Cause: The overtravel sensor for the displayed servo axis has been tripped.
The example above shows that the negative X-axis overtravel sensor has
been tripped.
Remedy:
1. For the X and Y-axes
Press the [RESET] button and inch the displayed axis away
from the sensor.
2. For the Z-axis
Check the Z-axis zero position value to see if something is
abnormal. Otherwise, verify the overtravel limit settings
in Proper data.
Z1-axis maximum value Travel_limit_max.Z1 + 30
Z2-axis maximum value Travel_limit_max.Z2 + 30
Z3-axis maximum value Travel_limit_max.Z3 + 30
Z1-axis minimum value Travel_limit_min.Z1 - 30
Z2-axis minimum value Travel_limit_min.Z2 - 30
Z3-axis minimum value Travel_limit_min.Z3 - 30
Memory Backup NG
Cause: The machine contains no valid Proper data or status data.
Remedy: Transmit Proper data and status data to the machine.
Note: If this error occurs each time the machine power supply is turned on, check the back-up
battery.
