1.5 Qualification and training of personnel
Personnel used for operation, preventive maintenance, inspection and installation must hold the
relevant qualifications for the job. The user must keep tight control over their responsibilities, as-
signment and supervision. Any employee who does not have the relevant training must be trained
and given appropriate instruction. The instruction is to be given by trained and authorized person-
nel.
SMT Academy
The SMT Academy provides technical training courses for your team, covering everything from
basic SIPLACE operator training to advanced follow-up training for your experts. Our courses can
either be held at your company or at one of our SIPLACE training centers worldwide. In addition
to our range of standard training programs, we can also offer customized courses to meet your
individual requirements.
SIPLACE training courses are always on a modular basis. This means that you can either book a
standard course or compile your own training program with the individual topics required for your
production environment.
