2.2 Upper Cover Tape

Handling Method

2.2.1 S-hydraulic Tape Feeder

->For 8mm take up tape feeder,

fix the end of upper cover tape to

the take up reel as shown in

following figure and take the tape

by taking the take up reel up. At

this time, if the upper cover

tape(Vinyl) is too loosen, the take

up reel fails to take up the upper

cover tape(vinyl) and can be

spread together with the feed tape.

2.2.2 P-hydraulic Tape Feeder

(Drain-type Feeder )

->For 8mm drain type tape feeder,

Fix the upper cover tape by

putting the upper cover tape

between drain gear and forming

gear by turning the drain pole to

CW with taking up the upper of

drain gear, and then return again

the drain pole to CCW. At

this time, if the upper cover

tape(Vinyl) is too loosen, the

upper cover tape(vinyil) can not

be drained by the forming gear

and can be spread together with

the feed tape.

2.2.3 Non Stop Tape Feeder

-> Fixing method of 8mm Non-Stop

tape feeder depends upon the

types such as drain type, take up

type, etc.

For drain type, put the upper cover

tape between idler gear and

forminggearbyhangitonRoller

A and B, passing it through the

slot B and placing it under

Roller D and above the Roller E.

At this time, Fix the upper cover

tape by pulling it tightly and

putting between two gears above.

Also care is to be taken for

ensuring that the upper cover tape

can be passed through evenly

without being folded or skipping

over rollers or gears when passing

through roller E or idler gear and

forming gear.

For take up type, apply the same

method as fixing method of the

existing take up tape feeder upper

cover tape. Refer to [Fig. 2.2.1].
