2.5.6 Safety instructions for the hand guard on the input belt
DANGER OF CRUSHING! 2
The guard must always be set to the height of the circuit board to be processed. The gap between
the guard and the safety bar should be kept as small as possible. The guard is mounted on the
input belt of the PCB conveyor.
Never reach through the gap into the inside of the machine. There is a danger of crushing
from the lifting table.
Adjust the height of the guard at the slots so that the circuit board to be processed can be
carried through.

2.5.7 Safety instructions for removing nozzles from Collect&Place heads
CAUTION
RISK OF INJURY TO FINGERS BY SHARP NOZZLES 2
Do not remove the nozzles in the pick-up/placement position (item 2 and 4 in Fig. 2.5 - 4).
The procedure for removing nozzles manually from the sleeve is as follows:
Pace the sleeve from which the nozzle is to be removed to the removal point (item 1 and 3 in
Fig. 2.5 - 4
).
Remove the nozzle from the sleeve here.

2.5.8 Note on the ESD safety of the machines
Only use nozzles that are identified as conductive. This is the only way to meet the require-
ments for the ESD safety of the machine.

2.5.9 Safety instructions for manually moving the Z axis at the P&P head
CAUTION
RISK OF CRUSHING AT THE P&P HEAD 2
NEVER move the Z axis down with your hand at the buffer of the return unit. The powerful spring
force of the cylinder creates a risk of injury to your fingers due to the buffer springing back. The
same applies inside the TwinHead when the piston rod springs back into its starting position.
