2.6.3 Safety Instructions for Stripping Nozzles off Collect&Place Heads

If you strip nozzles off manually, proceed as follows:
Step the sleeve, from which you want to strip off the nozzle, to the removal position.
Remove the nozzle from the sleeve here.
PLEASE NOTE
Manual removal of tantalum capacitors not picked up
The manual removal by the operator of tantalum capacitors which were not picked up is described in
section 7.1.1.3
, page 398.
CAUTION
Risk of injuries!
Fingers could be injured by sharp, pointed nozzles.
Do not pull nozzles off in the pickup/place position.

CAUTION
RISK OF CRUSHING ON TwinStar
The strong spring tension of the cylinder moves the buffer back very quickly and could injure your fin-
gers.
NEVER move the Z axis down by holding it with your hand on the buffer of the return unit. The
same warning applies to the inside of the TwinStar, when the piston rod moves back to its original
position.

Placement head change
When changing the placement head from the TwinStar to the Collect&Place head, dis-
mantle the component cameras (stationary P&P, type 33, 55 x 45, and type 25, 16 x 16)
of the TwinStar, to prevent the Collect&Place head from colliding with the camera hous-
ings.
