Place the tape reels in the slots of the reel holder.
The storing position varies depending on the tape reel size. A 7-inch tape reel can be stored on both
upper and lower holders. Descend the reel holder to store a 7-inch reel in the upper reel holder. A
tape reel over 7 inches are stored in the lower reel holder. Lift the upper holder as needed.

Set ZS feeder to carriage.
1. Grip the unclamping lever of a feeder.
2. Confirm the setting number on the carriage.
3. Place the feeder temporarily with its under rail aligned with the guide on the feeder plate side.
4. While keeping gripping the unclamping lever firmly, slide the feeder on the feeder plate to
insert the feeder to the end.

CAUTION
Be careful not to insert the feeder with excessive force.
Also, grip the unclamping lever firmly, or the clamping lever assembly does not open enough.

Lock the clamping lever assembly.
Upon releasing the unclamping lever, the clamping lever assembly closes and locks.
Confirm that the clamping lever assembly is locked firmly and the feeder does not come off.
Otherwise, the feeder may come off while mounting.

Check the state of setting in feeder.
View the feeder from the side to see that “the tape guide assembly is not lifted”, “the feeder
positioning pin equipped at the front end of front block is inserted to the end of feeder positioning
hole” and “the under rail of the feeder firmly, correctly sits in the feeder plate guide”.
