6.3.4 Nozzle Changer SP
NOTE
The "Nozzle changer SP" menu can only be executed when a nozzle-changer has been configured (specified
by the line computer).
With the nozzle-changer at the rotating head it is possible to pick up and return nozzles automatically.
Proceed as follows to call the menu item "Nozzle changer SP":
●
In the menu "Star head" use the cursor keys to move the cursor bar over the menu item "Nozzle changer
SP".
●
Press the
Return key
. The screen then displays the menu "Nozzle changer SP".

6.3.4.1 Magazine Configuration
The menu item "Magazine configuration" is used for displaying and checking the nozzle sizes in the individual
magazines of the nozzle-changer.
NOTE
If the magazine configurations (actual and desired) do not match, all nozzles will be returned to facilitate
changing and checking of the nozzles.
Proceed as follows to call the menu item "Magazine configuration":

In the menu "Nozzle changer SP" use the cursor keys to move the cursor bar over the menu item "Maga-
zine configuration".

Press the
Return key
. The screen then displays the menu "Magazine configuration".

Use the cursor keys to move the cursor bar over the corresponding line.
●
To acknowledge a change in the nozzle occupancy of the nozzle-changer press the
Return key
.
Nozzles which need modifying are highlighted by an arrow below the "Change" column in the menu win-
dow.
NOTE
If a magazine is changed, a full magazine (12 nozzles) must always be inserted.

This confirmation is required, when the actual nozzle configuration is not the same as the desired configu-
ration and if the state of the "desired" column is to be taken over into the "actual" column. This new nozzle
configuration is saved to the machine data. Before acknowledgment the nozzles in the corresponding mag-
azine of the nozzle-changer must be changed and there be 12 nozzles.
Once processing is completed, the two columns ("actual" and "desired") must match.

Press the Esc key to quit the menu "Magazine configuration".
6.3.4.2 Magazine Filling Level
Proceed as follows to call the menu item "Magazine filling level":
●
In the menu "Nozzle changer SP" use the cursor keys to move the cursor bar over the menu item "Maga-
zine filling level".
●
Press the
Return key
. The screen then displays the menu "Magazine filling level".
NOTE
If there are nozzles in the placement head, these will be returned to the corresponding magazines.
The number of nozzles per magazine cannot thus be greater than 12.
