Warning!
– Do not use compressed air to blow out for cleaning purposes – Segments should only be transported
– Do not bring stickers into contact with Ethyl alcohol in the special case.
– Touch glass disk as little as possible during cleaning – Keep segments that are not being
– Should be kept on a soft, dustfree surface only used in the locked case and safe-
for a short period (max. 1 day) guard against dust and damage

Do not carry out any cleaning work with alcohol in the presence of naked lights or fire!
NOTE
Carry out all maintenance work on the machine base in the same way for the SIPLACE 80S, the 80F, and G
machines, as described below unless the text specifies otherwise for a particular machine type.
9.3.1 Control Unit or Servo Unit
9.3.1.1 Cleaning and Replacing the Filter Mats
NOTE
If the filter mats are dirty, adequate cooling of the electronics modules will no longer be assured.

2 filter mats 230 x 260, Item no. 00315209-01

Switch the automatic placement system off at the main switch and disconnect from the power supply.
●
Open the doors in the machine base (see Fig. 9.3.1).
●
Pull the filter mats out (under the servo and control units) between the unit and base plate of the machine
base.
●
Lift or bend open the grille cover of the filter mats.
●
Clean the filter mats thoroughly on both sides with the vacuum cleaner.
●
If you detect damage insert a new filter mat between the grilles.
●
Close the grille cover and slide it back in place beneath the unit.
●
Close the control and servo cabinet doors and switch the machine on at the main switch.
●
Make sure that the fan motors are functioning by holding a sheet of paper, for example, under the opening
in the base plate.
