the menu disappears.

header and footer lines are displayed with commentary, measurement result, keyboard assignment and

7.5.5 Menu “Color graduation”
On selecting the option “Color graduation” in the menu “Edit fiducial”, the menu “Color graduation” is dis-
played.

Each pixel of the video camera contains 8 bits of grey-scale information. Here
–
the value 0 signifies black and
–
the value 255 signifies white
In order to make it easier to judge the brightness distribution or contrast relationships, these grey-scale values
are converted into color with the help of transformation tables, as shown below:

NOTE
In order to achieve a good unique value the difference in contrast between the fiducial and its surroundings
should have at least the value of 75. For example, the background should be colored green, the fiducial
orange.
If the contrast is poor, you can choose in the menu from among five pre-programmed transformation tables in
order to obtain a good color graduation.
In addition, you can also program a transformation table yourself. This option is protected by password and
can only be activated by the highest user class.
NOTE
If the color graduation is modified, the fiducial is taught at the same time.
