6.6 Head Functions 80 F
The head functions of the SIPLACE 80F are for the most part identical with the head functions of the
SIPLACE 80S. The SIPLACE 80F is equipped with one gantry upon which one IC head and one revolver head
are mounted. In Section 6.6 "Head Functions 80 F" only the additional gantry functions of the SIPLACE 80F
are treated. Differences can exist in the software version notice and also in the header of the screen menus.
This does not however have any influence on the functions.
For all other head functions reference will be made in this section to Section 6.3 "Star Head Functions 80S" of
the SIPLACE 80S information.
If at a later point in time function changes or additions are made which affect the SIPLACE 80 S Section 6.6
"Head Functions 80 F" will be revised accordingly.
6.6.1 Menu IC head
In the menu "IC head" it is possible to run individually the functions relating to the head, e.g. head reference
run, return nozzle, vacuum test.
NOTE
If the protective cover is open the head functions can only be run with the key-operated switch turned. When
the menu "IC head" is quit, the IC head and revolver head move to over the reject box. For the x/y axes to be
able to move the protective cover must be closed.
To select the menu "IC head" proceed as follows:
In the menu "Gantry" with the aid of the
cursor keys
position the cursor bar over the menu item
"IC head".
Press the
Return key
. The screen then displays the menu "IC head".
NOTE
Which nozzle is located at the IC placement head will always be displayed.
