2.2.15.4 Nozzle changer for 12 segment C&P head

The Siplace HF is supplied as standard with one 6 segment or one 12 segment collect&place

head. As an option, a nozzle changer can be installed for each collect&place head. This enables

the nozzle configuration to be changed quickly, thus allowing the collect&place head to be quickly

adapted to the needs of the placement process.

The nozzle changer consists of at least one, and up to ten magazines, each with twelve nozzle

garages (see Fig. 2.2 - 25). The magazines are seated on a common support and each magazine

is centered using two parallel pins and fixed in place with a spring hook.

Optionally can you configure each garage with a different nozzle type.

2.2.15.5 Nozzle changer for 6 segment C&P head

The nozzle changer for a 6 segment C&P head consists of at least one, and up to twelve maga-

zines, each with six nozzle garages (see Fig. 2.2 - 26). The magazines are seated on a common

support and each magazine is centered using two parallel pins and fixed in place with a spring

hook.

Magazines for the 9xx and 8xx nozzle types can be set up. The magazines can be arranged as

required.

2.2.16 TwinHead for high accuracy

2.2.16.1 Description

This Twin head developed consists of two P&P heads of same model coupled together who work

according to the Pick&Place principle.The second P&P head is rotate of 180 degree. Two compo-

nents are pick up from the feeder, on the way to placement position the component are recognize

optically and turn it into placement position. After this are put gently with the aid of controlled air

kiss and position precisely they onto the PCB board.

For the TwinHead, new nozzles (Type 5xx) were developed. However, the nozzles of the

Pick&Place head type 4xx and the nozzles of the Collect&Place heads from the type 8xx and 9xx

can use with an adapter.
