Disposing of used carrier tape
The used cut-up pieces of carrier tape are collected in the empty tape dust box as the production goes on.
Dispose of the carrier tape from time to time.

4.1.6 Detaching the feeder exchange carriage

Press the emergency stop button.
Stop the mounter if in operation and then press the emergency stop button on the mounter.

(If SS feeder exchange carriage) Open the safety cover of the machine.

Turn the clamp switch to the right (OFF).
The clamp switch indicator flashes, the carriage clamp on the mounter moves up, and the feeder plate
is released. When released, the clamp switch will go off.

Check that the clamp switch lamp is off.

Detach the feeder exchange carriage from the mounter.
Slowly pull back on the handles to separate the feeder exchange carriage from the mounter.

WARNING
DO NOT TOUCH THE MOUNTER BODY AND FEEDER EXCHANGE CARRIAGE WHILE THE CLAMP SWITCH LAMP IS FLASHING.
FINGERS MIGHT BE CAUGHT BY RISING FEEDER PLATE, AND PINCHED AND CRUSHED.

This section describes the procedure to detach ZS feeder and SS feeder from ZS feeder exchange carriage as an

Detach ZS feeder from the carriage.
1. Hold the unclamping lever of ZS feeder.
2. While holding the unclamping lever, pull the feeder straight out.
