Set the new magazine.
1. Temporarily put the magazine containing components supplied with aligning the bottom groove with
the guide.
2. Put the pallet retainer rod into the magazine top.
3. Hold the magazine handle on the magazine top and insert it to the rack till it is touch in far end.
4. Turn the magazine clamp clockwise with pulling it, then magazine is clamped.
Setting the magazine.
Clamp the magazine.
Pull forward.

Turn clockwise and return.

Press the pallet indicator button.
Press the "indicator" button for the number of the pallet where the components are supplied.

NOTE
When the tray components on the pallet are used up, the corresponding pallet indicator starts blinking. After setting
the new pallet, pressing the "indicator" button changes its blinking to lighting.

5.5 Exchanging pallet
This section describes the procedure to exchange a pallet on the tray component supply unit for sATS30NS as
an example.
TIP
This manual describes the pallet exchange on the magazine. Refer to "sATS30NS Option Manual" for Non-stop pallet
change on the pallet station.

NOTE
If the tray components on the pallet are used up, the corresponding pallet indicator starts blinking, and then
components supply indication (components loss error/ parts supply indicator light is on) is warned on the mounter.

Release the EMERGENCY STOP.
If the EMERGENCY STOP button is on, release it and press [READY] button to switch the servo on.

Select the magazine.
Turn the magazine exchange switch to the magazine which has the pallet to be exchanged, magazine
1 or 2. When the magazine exchange switch is turned to one side, the selected magazine moves to the
standby position. The magazine door is unlocked, then the door indicator of the magazine exchange
switch is off.

CAUTION
If the magazine containing the pallet in use during auto operation is selected, an error occurs causing to stop
operation.

NOTE
If the pallet station is set with "Use" in the machine setting and the magazine exchange switch is turned to the
magazine which has the pallet on the pallet station, the pallet on the pallet station is returned to the magazine first.

NOTE
If the magazine exchange switch is set to "RUN", the magazine door doesn't open.
