This nozzle changer can hold up to 6 magazines, each with 12 nozzle holders. The magazines
are seated on a common support. They are centered using two parallel pins and fixed in place with
4 snap fasteners.
Microswitches monitor whether the magazines are seated correctly on the body of the nozzle
changer in order to prevent the placement head colliding with a protruding magazine. All maga-
zine locations must be filled since the safety circuit stops the machine in response to missing mag-
azines or magazines that are not seated correctly.

7.1.2.1 Position of Nozzle Changer for C&P20 Head in CA4 Machines
Locations 1, 2, 3 and 4 can accommodate up to 2 nozzle changers for the 20 segment Collect&
Place head (item 1 and 2 in fig. 7.1 - 4
). This gives a total capacity of 8 nozzle changers with 48
magazines and a total of 576 nozzle holders.

When an SWS with a C&P20 nozzle changer is used, one row is installed by default. A second
row is available on request.
