2.2.8 Improvements of the Line Control GUI
In SIPLACE Pro 4.0 the LC GUI is improved as follows:
● The integrity check is supported in offline mode. Offline mode means that no line control server
is connected.
● You can add the same recipe more than once to the same production schedule.
● When using both conveyors in SIPLACE Pro 4.0 the LC GUI displays the active lane
(processing left, processing right).
● You can add new recipes to the production schedule or job at any position in the recipe list.
● When restarting the Line Control Server the user is asked (dialog box) to redownload the last
recipe. After the restart the last recipe is highlighted in red.
● If several LC GUI instances are open at the same time, all changes (addition or deletion of a
line) at one LC GUI instance are immediately accepted by all open LC GUI instances.
● Multi-selection of recipes in LC GUI possible:
● Integrity check is performed for all selected recipes.
● Deletion of all selected recipes is possible.
NOTICE
You can only download one recipe at a time even though multi-selection is possible.
2.2.9 Optimizer Feature: Don't change Component Location in Target Setup
With the option "Keep feeder position on table" you can reduce the changeover time for operators.
Components from the initial setup remain until they are needed again in the final setup. This
reduces changeover times. For further details please refer to the online help.
You can access this option via the button "Configure…".

2.2.10 Help on Optimizer Error Messages
In SIPLACE Pro 4.0 an additional online help for the optimizer error messages is integrated.
You can access the online help on the optimizer error messages via:
● the button Errors -> Help -> Contents…
● click on the error number in the error message
2.2.11 Improved Report Functions
All reports can be saved as XML file for further processing.
Following reports are all started via the optimized recipe list (context menu).

2.2.11.1 Filtered recipe component summary
The filtered recipe component summary shows the used components and reels in relation to the
defined recipe(s).
The filtered recipe component summary is started via the optimized recipe list.
2.2.11.2 Report Data Export to Excel
Following reports can be exported (Report -> Export XML Data for Excel). These XML files could
be imported in Excel Diese XML-Dateien können anschließend in Excel importiert werden.

● Component Shape List-Report
● Recipe Analysis Grid-Report

2.2.11.3 Filtered Feeder Summary
The report for the filtered feeder summary is a table consisting of following data:
● Station – Table/Location – Feeder
● Feeder – Station – Table/Location
● Component – Station – Table/Location
The filtered feeder summary is started via the optimized recipe list.
