4.3.3.2 Fitting the indicator lamp

 Insert the indicator lamp into the hole until the lamp tube projects sufficiently into the terminal

beneath.

 Connect the cable for the indicator lamps to the plug. The cable with plug is located in the

tube.

 Tighten the two screws on the terminal so that the indicator lamp is clamped into place.

4.3.3.3 Fixing the monitors

 Use the 4 fastening screws to fix the monitor to the monitor mount and then connect the cable.

 Check the cable connections.

4.3.4 PCB conveyor height on the placement machine

The placement machine can be set to the following PCB conveyor heights:

900 mm ± 15 mm

930 mm ± 15 mm (standard height) 4

950 mm ± 15 mm (SMEMA height) 4

PLEASE NOTE

The PCB conveyor height is the distance between the top edge of the PCB conveyor belt

and the bottom edge of the machine feet.

4.3.5 Tools and equipment

You will need the following tools and equipment to adjust the height of your placement machine:

– Combination wrench size 19, Item No. 03111261-01 (new)

– Or, optionally: Open double-ended ring spanner, size 20, Item No. 03080496-01

– Torque wrench with setting scale, Item No. 03080498-01 and extension 1/2 inch, Item No.

03080499-01

– Hexagonal screwdriver bit, size 12 Item No. 03080501-01

– Hexagonal screwdriver bit, size 14 Item No. 03080502-01

– Allen key, for hexagon socket head screws for fixing the machine feet with a grub screw

– Shaft spirit level (accuracy 0.02 mm/m), item no. 00353825-01

– Measuring device for machine alignment, Item No. 03075826-01

as support for the shaft spirit level used to align the gantries.

– SX machine alignment gauge 2 assembly, item no. 03077785-01

– SX machine alignment gauge 1 assembly, item no. 03077777-01

for alignment to the PCB conveyors in the line

– Fork lift truck (specification see 4.1.4.3 on page 186).

– Air cushion transport system: SIPLACE HSxx, Item No. 00119002-S01 (optional)

4.3.6 Replacing machine feet (height adapter)

The placement machine stands on 4 feet (height adapter) (see item 1 in fig. 4.3 - 2, page 208)

The corresponding height adapters are available for the various PCB conveyor heights.
