Selecting an icon
To be able to perform an action by means of an icon, it must be selected first.
Select desired icon.

video. The previous icon is no longer selected.

The main window of the program is opened on the screen (see, for example, chapt. 5, Component
Editor).

2.1.2 On-Screen Help
The line computer software comprises two Help programs that can be called up separately (see section 2.5.3 ).
- Online Help
The Online Help is a comprehensive (partly graphical) help program that enables detailed information
about commands, editing fields, buttons and given functions to be called up while working. When the
online screen Help system is active, all areas of the application windows are "sensitive" that serve as
a link to more detailed information about the current topic (e.g. editing fields, menus, commands, etc.).
NOTE
Details on how to use the Online Help are contained in section 2.5.3.
- Help Index
The Help Index is a help program by means of which detailed information about a selected topic can
be provided in a separate window. Integrated in the help information are
sensitive text areas
(branch
addresses) with the aid of which a link to other help topics or more detailed information about the
current topic can be established when they are clicked on with the mouse.
NOTE
Basic information about working with the Help Index is contained in section 2.5.3.1.
