- (Change)
If this icon is activated and a job is selected from the view area with the right
mouse button, its data
are transferred to the editing field and can now be edited.
NOTE
For a job that has already been scheduled, only the data for the lot type and the nominal size can be
changed, all other data cannot be edited.
Example: Renaming a job
● Activate the icon.
● Click on the job to be renamed with the right mouse button.
All data are transferred to the editing area.
● Click on the Lot name editing field.
● Delete the old name and enter a new name.
● Click on the OK button in the command area.
The job is displayed in the job list with the new name.
- (Edit-support)
Clicking on this icon causes the "Job Data" (FSB) edit support to open provided the icon for the
"Create" command was activated beforehand
.
● Activate the icon.
The "Job data" edit support (FSB) first opens containing the file selection of all defined PCBs.
● Successively select <PCB>.la, <line>.ak, <subline>.va and <setup>.ar by double-clicking in each
case.
The FSB closes and the names of the selected files are displayed in the appropriate editing fields.
- OK
The editing session is terminated by choosing OK, and the job is inserted in the job list in accordance
with the setting of the "Insert" option (see page 14 - 17).

14.2 Line Control
The Line Control allows the operator to control the Line (complete system) and Subline (part of the system), as
required (see section 14.2.3).
Features
- Starting/stopping the line
- Disabling/enabling all input conveyors forming part of the line
- Setting barcode strategy and barcode filter
- Starting/stopping the subline
- Disabling/enabling the input conveyor of the current subline
- Adjusting the conveyor width
- Defining the UFO strategy
14.2.1 Definition of Terms
•Line
The Line (comprising all stations of the system) can be subdivided into Sublines which then operate
as independent systems.
• Subline
A subline consists of individual stations which constitute a subset of the overall line.
• UFO strategy
The station controllers can adopt different strategies for the handling of PCBs with unknown identi-
ties. These strategies are called UFO strategies. They are set via the Line Control and then sent to
the Job Control.
The UFO strategy is only of relevance in the production mode "with barcode".
If the PCB cannot be allocated to any specific type or lot by means of the barcode, the PCB concer-
ned will be classified as UFO and the preset UFO strategy will be used.

Production Strategies
• Barcode Strategy = without barcode
If no barcode is provided only one lot type will be assembled. Several lots may be known to the
station controller. The lot heading the list of the scheduled lots is processed.
Changing the barcode strategy is only possible after the line has been cleared of all PCBs.
• Barcode Strategy "with barcode"
If this barcode strategy is set, the station sends the barcode of each PCB to the line computer.
The latter searches for the matching PCB type and subsequently for jobs, containing the PCB type con-
cerned, that are either in the state "scheduled", or undergoing the producibility test or which are in the
"ready" state. If such a job is in the "ready" state, it will be compiled and subsequently scheduled for pro-
cessing. If no matching job is found, the PCB is passed through the line without being processed.
NOTE
In order for the above procedure to function properly, it is required that at least one job be scheduled.
If no job is scheduled the PCB is passed through the line without being processed.
