1.8.2 Automatic Overhead Production Process
The following steps outline the automatic overhead production process. Refer to the item numbers in
Figure 1-17.
1. Load magazine with untreated strips into overhead magazine auto loading port (3).
2. The platform receives the magazine from the overhead conveyor system and transfers the
magazine to the magazine station (A).
3. Material transfer station will grip the magazine from the conveyor and load the strips into
the buffer lanes (B).
4. Strips will be transferred by the loader claw into the plasma chamber for treatment (C).
5. Treated strips will be transferred by the unloader claw from the plasma chamber to unloader
buffer (D).
6. Treated strips will be unloaded from the buffer lanes into the empty magazine (auto
transfer).
7. Material transfer station will unload the fully loaded magazine onto the conveyor (E).
8. Unload the magazine with the treated strips from the overhead magazine auto unloading
port (4).

1.8.3 Manual Production Process
The following steps outline the manual production process Refer to the item numbers in Figure 1-17.
1. Manually load the magazine with untreated strips to the magazine manual loading port (1)
and transfer the magazine to the magazine station (A).
2. The material transfer station will grip the magazine from the conveyor and load the strips
into the buffer lanes (B).
3. The strips will be transferred by the loader claw into the plasma chamber for treatment (C).
4. The treated strips will be transferred by the unloader claw from the plasma chamber to
unloader buffer (D).
5. The treated strips will be unloaded from the buffer lanes into the empty magazine (auto
transfer).
6. The material transfer station will unload the fully loaded magazine onto the conveyor (E).
7. The operator manually unloads the magazine with the treated strips from magazine manual
unloading port (2).
