1.4 Precautions in Maintenance
• Before maintenance, inspection, adjustment, lubrication, or cleaning work,
turn off the power switch of the machine and the air source. Only qualified
personnel should operate the machine, following the instructions.
• Whenever maintenance work is performed, turn off the power and
air sources and lock the power breaker using the padlock.
• Designate a personnel who can have charge of the padlock key.
• If the provided padlock is lost or damaged, purchase its substi-
tute.

• In case of earthquake, windstorm, fire, etc., stop the machine immediately,
turn off power switches and cut the power supply to the machine.
• Precautionary measures (prevention of noise generation, etc.) must be taken
for other equipment to prevent malfunctions.
• Never remove or modify any one of the main body, maintenance cover, safety
devices.
• Do not deliberately remove or modify any one of the [EMERGENCY STOP]
buttons.
• Never modify any part of the machine (especially the main body and safety
devices) for functional and safety purposes.
