(1) Emergency Stop
The following display appears when an emergency stop occurs.
When a situation occurs in which the machine would be damaged if it continued to
operate, the servo motors, conveyor motors and air cylinders stop operating. The
message “Waiting for Reset SW” appears, and after the problem is fixed, the RESET
button should be pressed. The message “Ready” will then appear.

(2) Cycle Stop (During Automatic Operation)
The following display appears when a cycle stop occurs.
A cycle stop occurs when an error which interrupts automatic operation has occurred
(except for the case where the CYCLE STOP switch is pressed). The machine continues
the operation until it can safely stop and the message “Waiting for Reset SW” appears
along with a brief description of the error on the machine. After the source of the
problem has been removed, press the RESET switch, and the “Press START” message
will appear.

(3) Other Interruptions During Automatic Operation
There are instances when the CP-643E will be interrupted during automatic operation
because of one of the following two reasons.
1. If calculation of placing data does not finish in time
If by chance the calculation of data used in placing parts does not finish in time,
automatic operation will be interrupted until these calculations have been completed.
In this case the message "Calculating Placing Data" will display on the screen. Once
these calculations have finished, return to automatic operation and start again.
2. If vision processing does not finish in time
If vision processing is not completed in time, automatic operation will be interrupted
until processing has been completed. In such a case the message "Vision processing"
will display on the screen. Once vision processing has finished, return to automatic
operation and start again.
