2. Register the third and fourth marks in the second data line as follows.
Mark : Enter the mark No. registered as the third mark
in the Mark Information.
X1, Y1 : Enter the coordinates of the third mark relative
to the PCB origin (or the block repeat No.1
point in the case of block repeat reference) in
millimeters.
Mrk2 (Mark 2) : Enter the mark No. registered as the fourth
mark in the Mark Information. If the fourth
mark is identical with the third mark, enter “0”
here.)
X2, Y2 : Enter the coordinates of the fourth mark
relative to the PCB origin (or the block repeat
No.1 point in the case of block repeat
reference) in millimeters.
Type : Set to “4Local-M”.
Skip : Set to “Exec” (initial setting).
Comment : You can enter a comment here as necessary.
3. When all the settings are complete, press the [ESC] key twice to exit the
Local. Fidu. Info. screen, then select <2/1/D8 SAVE PCB DATA> and
press the [ENTER] key.
3 Open the Mount Info. screen and set the fiducial function.
1. Press the [F3] key to display the edit item menu box and select “Mount
Info.”. On the Mount Info. screen, move the cursor to the data line for
which you want to set the 4-point fiducial function.
2. Enter the mark data No. you have registered in the Local Fidu. Info., in
the “FidMk” column of the selected data line. If enter the mark No. for
“4Local-S” here, this will be a data error.
3. To correct the position on one mount data, specify one piece of fiducial
mark data for one piece of mount data. To correct the positions on
multiple pieces of mount data, specify one piece of fiducial mark data
for multiple pieces of mount data.

6. Using the badmark functions
The badmark function permits the machine to cancel component mounting
if the machine detects a badmark affixed to the specified position on a
PCB.
Badmark function

The machine mounts components when no badmarks are detected.
The machine skips mounting components when a badmarrk is detected.
Badmarks are broadly classified into two types: one is specified for the
PCB data and the other is for the mount data. These badmarks are further
divided by their functions into “PCB badmark”, “block badmark” and
“local badmark”. This section explains how to create and use these
badmarks.
