=REFERENCE=
The reading on the digital sequence
timer changes from 70q to 0q.
8. Check the timing
again.
Top and bottom timing check
1. Turn the hand wheel to lower the insertion
pusher and get a stable position. Then insert
the measuring needle into the insertion
pusher.
2. Turn the hand wheel slowly in the clockwise
direction to secure it where the measuring
needle of the dial gauge moves by 0.01
mm.
3. Press “F6” (SEQ TIMER) on the main
control panel to display the angle.
4. Make sure that the angle indicates 230 r1q.
Top and bottom timing adjustment
Ex.: When the guide pin lowers at 230q in
timing and the insertion pusher lowers
at 240q in timing
1. Turn the hand wheel to set the digital
sequence timer to 0q.
2. Disengage the ETP bush at the upper base
of the drive unit.
=REFERENCE=
Disengaging the ETP bush releases the
top and bottom driving.
3. Set the digital sequence timer to 10q by
turning the hand wheel in the clockwise
direction.
=CHECK=
Turn the hand wheel while holding the
pulley of the power axis not to move the
upper cam box.
4. Fix the ETP bush at the upper base of the
drive unit.
5. Check/adjust all the above mentioned
timings and make sure that the lowering
timing of the guide pin and insertion
chuck is 230 q.

Anvil height check during rising
1. In manual mode and 1 block, press ORG.
2. Turn the hand wheel to set the digital
sequence timer to 275q.
3. Set the lever−operated dial gauge to the
PCB holder of the anvil fixed blade and
check the height from the bottom surface
of the guide rail around the XY table
positioning lever (reference side).

Anvil height adjustment during rising
When anvil too high:
1. Loosen the anvil height adjusting bolt (2−M6).
2. Set the lever−operated dial gauge to “0” at the
bottom of the guide rail in the vicinity of the
positioning lever (reference side).
3. Slide the lever−operated dial gauge parallel to
itself and fit the measuring needle of the
lever−operated dial gauge to the PCB holder of
the anvil blade.
4. Using a copper rod, tap the anvil rotating plate
from underneath and secure the anvil height
adjusting bolt (2−M6) when the height reaches r
0.05 mm.
5. Turn the hand wheel to set the digital sequence
timer to 0q .
6. Follow steps 1 through 3 in “Anvil height
check
during rising
again.
When anvil position is low:
4. Using a copper rod, tap the anvil rotating plate
from above and secure the anvil height adjusting
bolt (2−M6) when the height is within r 0.05 mm.
5. Turn the hand wheel to set the digital sequence
timer to 0q .
6. Follow steps 1 through 3 in “Anvil height
check
during rising
again.
=CHECK=
Adjusting anvil height during rising may
change the accuracy of the guide pin upper
stopper (Refer to 5.24.) and anvil parallelism
(Refer to 5.19.). So be sure to recheck
and readjust them.
