7.1.6 Fine adjustments
Make fine adjustments if the below situations occur.
(1) If the origin return monitor shakes after adjusting all axes and removing the extension board.
Adjust motor driver offset.
Adjust Cn−00−0003 values while watching the monitor. (Within r 30 for the reference setting)
(2) If parts are slightly out of position when positioning is complete.
Adjust the torque command filter timer of the motor driver.
Adjust the Cn−17 value while watching the effected axis move.
=CHECK=
If changing speed loop gain (Cn−04) during adjustment, return it to the standard setting before
making the above fine adjustments. Also, if the chattering cannot be corrected by making fine
adjustments, gradually lower speed loop gain within the 1 to 5 range, and then make the fine
adjustments.
If speed loop gain is lowered too much, motor response will slow down.
Therefore, keep speed loop gain as high as possible.
Chattering will occur if speed loop gain is not lowered when the table is not fully assembled and
load is light. Therefore, make adjustments again when the table is completely assembled.

7.2.2 AC Motor Power ON
(1) Turn ON the main power supply.
=CHECK=
In this state, keep hands on the EMERGENCY STOP at all times. If the cam shaft starts to move,
shut OFF power immediately.
(2) Switch to the semi−auto mode and check the motor excites.
=CHECK=
If the motor does not excite in the semi−auto mode, check the motor driver alarm.
(3) In the semi−auto mode, when wanting to rotate the motor by operating the cam shaft from the
sub−control panel, check the cam shaft turns in the normal direction and stops roughly after 1
revolution.
=CHECK=
x If the cam shaft turns in reverse, check Cn−02 bit of the motor driver to set to “0“.
x If the cam shaft does not turn at all, check the motor driver alarm display.
x Check the cam shaft’s relation with the X−Y table while turning.
(4) Working from the sub−control panel, check shifting across all 4 speeds.
7.2.3 Manual Mode Movement Check
(1) Set the machine to the manual mode. While turning the hand wheel to move the cam shaft, check
the hand wheel turns smoothly and without sticking.
=CHECK=
x If the hand wheel sticks or is hand to turn, check Cn−01 bit of the motor driver.
