Temperature of 10 to 40 °C
Humidity of 35 to 80%
No direct sunlight
No possibility of dew condensation
No water leakage or water
(2) Provide enough space in the front and back of the system for operation and maintenance.
Please don't install the VT-S720 in such a way that the fan area is blocked or cover it.
(3) OMRON will move the system at delivery or relocation. When moving the system after
initial installation, be sure to contact OMRON sales office.
(4) Inspect circuit boards of the sizes within the specification.
(5) Do not touch the cables and connectors.
(6) Do not give the system a shock, or the system would be broken down.
(7) Do not touch the camera and lens as an adjustment has been performed before shipment.
Doing so may affect inspection performance.
(8) When turning off the system, be sure to follow the procedures listed below. If the power
supply to the main unit is turned off without shutting down the system, the hard disk may
crash.
(9) When releasing the door lock and opening the front cover, interlock will operate. Do not open
the front cover while the system is in operation unless necessary such as when removing a
PCB.
(10) The lock will be released only when the handle of the front cover is held. When
opening/closing the cover, be sure to hold the handle with two hands.
(11) When opening/closing the front cover, mind your head to avoid hitting the top panel when
entering inside the system as the top panel slides.
(12) When loading/unloading a PCB from the front cover, do not touch the component inside the
system.
(13) When the system is in normal operation, the lock cannot be released even if you hold the
handle of the front cover. The lock can be released only when a dialog that urges you to check
there is no PCB or foreign object remained, or when emergency stop switch is pressed.
(14) Do not turn off the main breaker during system termination processing. Doing so may damage
its hard disk.
(15) Do not repeat turning on/off the power supply. Doing so may cause failure of the main unit. Be
sure to turn on the power supply after at least 3 minutes after the power turned off.
(16) Do not connect to the network or storage device that increases the risk of virus infection.
(17) Do not save the back-ups of inspection programs and libraries on a CR-R/RW or DVD±R/RW,
or their files will become read-only in attribute and fail to work normally when read into this
system.
(18) Since normal operation of this system has been verified in factory settings, do not apply any
OS service pack or security patch, change the settings or update the driver. If you try any
without our consent, it will be construed as a remodeling of the system, and will not be
guaranteed.
(19) Supply air within the specified pressure range (0.3 to 0.6 MPa). Do not use dry air.

6
(20) Use the rated voltage within the power supply specification.
(21) Use a power supply cable conforming to the specifications of the power supply.
(22) Make sure all connectors are connected. Use of any loose connectors could cause loose
connection or occurrence of overcurrent, resulting in fire, smoke or burnout.
