Error No. Error Message Corrective Action
E000000 Message File Error There is no error message file or the existing error message
file may have an error. Let us know the number displayed
on your screen.
E0001 File I/O error. <##[message]> An error occurred during basic file access operation. The
displayed message corresponds to the MS-DOS error
number (it indicates an error related to a directory). If this
error frequently occurs, let us know the number displayed on
your screen and how this error occurred.
E0002 Bad letter(s) in specified file name. This file name includes a character(s) that cannot be used for
a file name. Check characters available to a file name.
E0003 Reserved file name by DOS
(Special files).
The special file indicates the character strings reserved
under MS-DOS.
You cannot specify any of these character strings as a file
name.
Specify a file name using characters not included in these
strings (reserved file names: CON, AUX, PRN, CLOCL$,
COM, LPT).
E0004 No production data to save. There is no production program to be stored. If you have
never loaded a production file or if you have never edited a
new file after the system starts up, this error message
appears on the screen.
E0008 Already, directory exists. You cannot create a directory whose name has already used
for the existing directory. Check the directory name again.
E0009 No directory was found. This error message appears on the screen when you try to
delete a directory that does not exist. Check the directory
name again.
E0010 System error.|Can't be formatted. This disk may be damaged. Format another disk. If this
error occurs again, let us know the operation you have done.
W0011 Specified template data full.|Delete
not used template data.
This error message appears on the screen when the VCS
memory is full, for example because you stored a production
program that was used for teaching a user designated
template. Delete unnecessary templates with the File
maintenance command, and store the production program
again.
E0012 File I/O error. <##[message]> An error occurs during basic file access operation. The
displayed message corresponds to the MS-DOS error
number (it indicates an error related to a directory). If this
error frequently occurs, let us know the number displayed on
your screen and how this error occurred.
E0013 File exists under specified
directory.
This error message appears on the screen if there is (are) a
file(s) or directory (directories) under the directory you try to
delete. Before deleting a directory, delete all files and
directories located under the directory.
E0100 Not enough working memory The unoccupied memory space becomes insufficient during
disk formatting process. Let us know how this error
occurred.
E0103 Disk full. You cannot perform any “copy” operation due to insufficient
memory space of the copy destination drive. Change the
destination drive to another one, and copy the data.
