6.10.5 Changing an assignment
You can change an assignment by attributing a new code to the soldering program.
The assignment code – Changing the soldering programme
ü Changing an assignment:
a) in the [Assignment: code - soldering program] frame, highlight the data set to
be changed.
ð The data set is now displayed in the input line.
b) Change the code in the [Code] input field.
c) Click on the
button in the [Assignment: code - soldering program] frame
ð A new code was assigned to the soldering programme.
NOTE
When the [Code mode] checkbox is enabled
In this case, the machine works in [Code mode]. This necessarily requires an enabled
code table. The machine then operates as shown in the code table.
6.10.6 Deleting, rename and copy a code table
Deleting a code table
ü Deleting a code table together with the data sets it contains:
a) in the [Code table] frame, highlight a code table and then click on the
but-
ton.
ð A query dialogue is displayed.
b) Follow the instructions on the screen.
ð The code table has been deleted.
Renaming a code table
ü Renaming a code table:
a) in the [Code table] frame, highlight a code table and then click on the
but-
ton.
ð The [Rename file] dialogue is displayed.
b) Enter a new name for the code table in the input field.
c) Should the process be cancelled, click on the
button.
d) Click on the
button.
ð The code table has been renamed
NOTE
Can a code table not be deleted or renamed?
If a code table is enabled, you cannot delete or rename it. You first have to enable an
other code table. The last code table in the [Code table] frame cannot be deleted or
renamed.
Copying a code table
ü Copying a code table together with the data sets it contains:

a) In the [Code table] frame, highlight a code table and then click on the but-

ð The [Copy file] dialogue is displayed.
b) Enter a new name for the copy in the input field.
c) Should the process be cancelled, click on the

ð The code table has been copied together with the data sets contained therein.
6.10.7 Enabling a code table
Once code tables have been created, you can select and enable them.
ü Enabling a code table
a) Mark a code table in the [Code table] frame, then click on the
button.
ð The code table is enabled and shown in the [Activated code table:] display
field.
6.10.8 Code read error
If a code which has not been assigned is read at the machine infeed, a message is
displayed. After acknowledging the message, the [Code Failure] dialogue is dis-
played. You have three options:
– [remove PCB]. Remove the PCB from the infeed.
– [Select soldering program manually]. Create the appropriate assignment manu-
ally.
– [Use as code in code table]. Click the
button. Follow the instructions on the
screen to add the code to the appropriate code table.

6.11 Selecting and starting a soldering program
Use this function to select and start a previously created soldering programme.
After starting, the machine switches to the [Automatic mode] operating mode and
you can proceed to solder using the settings of the soldering program.
Searching for a soldering programme
ü Searching for a soldering programme:
a) click on the
button in the top toolbar of the start dialogue.
ð When the [Password:] input field appears:
b) enter user name and correct password.
ð If the [Moduleinfo] edit dialogue appears, there is either a malfunction or
an operating condition preventing soldering programmes from starting.
You cannot select any soldering programme.
c) Check for existing malfunctions in the [Moduleinfo] edit dialogue.
d) Eliminate malfunctions. Then try again to start a soldering programme.
ð The dialogue [Select soldering program] is displayed.
NOTE
Are any changes possible?
The [Select soldering program] user rights are required to access this dialog. Settings
can only be displayed if no name and password are logged in. In this case, press the
[ESC] key on your keyboard, or click on the button [Cancel] when a password is re-
quired.
After entering [User name] and [Password:] correctly, the [Select soldering pro-
gram] dialog is displayed:
