ü Checking the flux material storage tank and setting the pressure:
a) Visual inspection of all the tank components. Clean any dirty components.
b) Open the nitrogen supply tap (5) carefully. Open the tap (4) in the ON direc-
tion. Check the pressure gauge (7), then set a pressure of 0.5 bar on the valve
(13).
c) Lift the flux material tank (3) and carefully move it back and forth.
ð Prevent any flux material leakage. In the event of flux material leakage or
audible wind noise:
d) Depressurise the system.
e) Tighten up leaking connections.
f) Have defective connections replaced by qualified staff.
ð The process has now been completed.

8.11.3 Z-axis lubrication after 400 hours of operation
Z-axes must be lubricated at the latest after 400 hours of operation. For more ac-
curate monitoring, you can create a cyclic message. With regard to this, please read
Chapter:

8.11.4 Preparing solder nozzles
This kind of maintenance work must be performed while the solder is liquid! There-
fore, the following safety instructions must be strictly followed:
DANGER
Severe or fatal injury from hot machine!
The entire machine is hot during operation and contains liquid metal!
a) Service on the hot machine may only be carried out by specially trained staff,
qualified for this type of work! For these types of work, a company internal oper-
ating procedure for protective clothing is to be issued!
b) You should always take into account the possibility for metal to spray out!
c) Special care is required when refilling the pot and working on the pot!
NOTE
Use suitable protective equipment!
When performing any work on a hot pot, protective clothing must be worn:
a) Safety shoes
b) Face protection
c) Heat resistant gloves
d) Heat resistant apron.
CAUTION
Risk of material damage!
All the parts of the soldering module coming into contact with liquid solder are
coated.
a) These parts may only be cleaned with a suitable brush.
b) Use a wooden scraper for residual solder which is hard to remove.
