NOTE
For lubrication, a thin film of grease is enough!
If the drive components are excessively lubricated, they get dirty very quickly. Clean
dirty drive components before lubrication!
ü Visual inspection of the width adjustment:
a) Clean dirty components.
ð Smooth and soft running must be guaranteed.
b) Check and clean sensors (1). Have damaged components replaced by a quali-
fied electrician.
c) Check holders (2); fix loose holders anew.

ð If parts have been replaced or fixed anew:
d) Re-adjust the width adjustment.
e) Clean and then lubricate spur gears (4), toothed racks (5) and spline shafts (6).
f) After lubricating, adjust the width adjustment twice across the entire conveyor
width.
g) Only clean the slide surfaces (3), do not lubricate them!

8.10.1 The whole machine (mechanics)
ü Visual inspection of all mechanical connections:
a) Inspection of all mechanical connections. Check screws and nuts for tightness.
Refasten loose screws and nuts.
