DANGER
Risk of injury due to gloves entrapment!
ü When working on the running conveyor system:
a) Let the machine cool down to room temperature!
b) Do not wear gloves!
c) Keep fingers away from moving parts (transport chains, gear wheels, gear racks)!
d) For the lubrication of the conveyor chains use a brush, a dosage bottle or a spray!
ü Inspecting the conveyor system:
a) Check the conveyor profiles (1) for tightness and completeness. Secure loose
conveyor profiles. Replace missing or damaged conveyor profiles.
b) Visual inspection of the conveyor chains (2). Smooth and soft running must be
guaranteed.
ð The process has now been completed.

ü Visual inspection of the solder nozzle wetting
a) The solder nozzles must be completely wetted with solder (1) with an activated
solder wave.
b) Enable incompletely wetted solder nozzles(2).
c) Have strongly oxidized solder nozzles replaced by qualified staff only.
ð The process has now been completed.
NOTE
Supplementary documents
To prepare the solder nozzles, the [106314] document is available. You can find the
document on the [product_data_selective] data carrier, which is included in delivery.

8.4.3 Selective soldering module: Clean the solder pot
This kind of maintenance work must be performed while the solder is liquid! There-
fore, the following safety instructions must be strictly followed:
DANGER
Severe or fatal injury from hot machine!
The entire machine is hot during operation and contains liquid metal!
a) Service on the hot machine may only be carried out by specially trained staff,
qualified for this type of work! For these types of work, a company internal oper-
ating procedure for protective clothing is to be issued!
b) You should always take into account the possibility for metal to spray out!
c) Special care is required when refilling the pot and working on the pot!
NOTE
Use suitable protective equipment!
When performing any work on a hot pot, protective clothing must be worn:
a) Safety shoes
b) Face protection
c) Heat resistant gloves
d) Heat resistant apron.
CAUTION
Risk of material damage!
All the parts of the soldering module coming into contact with liquid solder are
coated.
a) These parts may only be cleaned with a suitable brush.
b) Use a wooden scraper for residual solder which is hard to remove.
NOTE
Supply the dross to the recycling!
Dross is no waste and can be recycled to solder. For this purpose contact a solder
manufacturer!
