Hot supplies, hot excipients, liquid metal!
Risk of burns when dealing with fuels, additives and liquid metal!
a) Be aware of the in-house provision for protective clothing!
b) Work on the hot machine must only be carried out by trained and qualified per-
sonnel!

Substances hazardous to health!
Risk of poisoning by inhalation or ingestion!
a) Flux fumes are produced during soldering. These are harmful to health. Do not
eat, drink or smoke in places where soldering is carried out!
b) Traces of lead from the soldering adhering to a person's hands may access the hu-
man organism via food or cigarettes (health hazard). After touching solder, clean
your hands thoroughly!
CAUTION

Risk of poisoning by inhalation!
a) During soldering, gas emissions arise from the module or from the solder paste
used. These gas emissions are harmful.
b) With respect to respiratory protection, the operator must observe the processing
instructions specified in the safety data sheets of the solder pastes and fluxes
used!

3.4.1 Normal operation
DANGER
Personal injury or material damage due to the machine inadequate service and im-
proper operation!
ü Refrain from any unsafe working methods.
a) Run the machine only if in perfect technical condition!
b) Run the machine only with working protective and safety equipment!
c) Emergency stop devices and sound absorbers must be available and fully func-
tional!
d) The suction equipment must be available and fully functional. The suction equip-
ment must comply with the legal regulations!
WARNING
Entanglement hazard!
a) Before switching on the machine, make sure that nobody can be endangered by
the running machine!

3.4.2 Safety instructions for maintenance, service, specific work,
troubleshooting
WARNING
The machine malfunctioning is possible!
Personal injury or property damage due to improper commissioning or incorrect oper-
ation of the machine!
ü Commissioning must be performed by trained and qualified staff only.
a) Inspect the machine for visible defects!
b) Check all safety devices for proper operation!
c) Wear suitable protective clothing for all types of work!
d) During commissioning, ensure switching on and off processes and monitoring dir-
ections are in accordance with the operating instruction manual!

Possible serious injury or death!
a) Never disable safety devices!
Be careful when dismounting safety devices!
ü If the removal of safety devices is necessary for the machine service, retrofit-
ting or repairs:
a) re-install all safety devices after work completion!
b) Check all safety devices when assembly has been carried out!
